Privacy Policy

qa::checklist is a web-based QA checklist manager for creating projects, modules, checklist items, statuses, comments, and CSV exports.

This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and how you can contact us about your data.

Account information, such as your email address, display name, and authentication data needed to create and secure your account. We do not receive or store your plaintext password.

Checklist content you choose to create in the app, including project names, project descriptions, modules, checklist items, expected results, statuses, and comments.

Technical information needed to operate the service, such as basic browser, device, log, and security information processed by our hosting, database, and infrastructure providers.

Browser storage used for authentication sessions. We do not intentionally use advertising or marketing cookies at this time.

We use information to provide the service, authenticate users, save checklist data, maintain security, troubleshoot issues, respond to support requests, and comply with legal obligations.

We do not sell personal information.

We use third-party providers to operate the service, including Supabase for authentication and database services, and infrastructure providers for hosting, DNS, delivery, logs, and security.

These providers process information only as needed to provide their services to us.

We may share information with service providers that help us operate the app, when required by law, or when needed to protect the service, users, or the public.

We do not share your checklist content with other users unless the product explicitly supports that feature in the future.

We keep account and checklist data while your account is active or as needed to provide the service.

We do not currently offer self-service account deletion in the app. To request account and data deletion, contact us at support@qa-checklist.dev. We will delete your account data and associated projects, modules, checklist items, and comments unless we need to keep limited information for legal, security, or abuse-prevention reasons.

You can contact us at support@qa-checklist.dev to request access, correction, or deletion of your personal information. Depending on your location, you may have additional privacy rights under applicable law.

We use reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect the service. No online service can be guaranteed to be completely secure.

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. The updated version will be posted on this page with a new effective date.
